Troop trips are usually fairly adventurous allowing the Members to
complete their outdoor Scouting and community sections of their training
scheme and to put into practice previously learnt knowledge. The trip
could be anything from climbing at the local campsite to swimming at the
local pool. Where time allows we will write about them here.
District Raft Race 2000
The District raft race is always a time to show off those pioneering
skills and keep a crew of Scouts afloat for the duration of the course.
Its the not the winning that counts but the completion, winning is
just an added bonus. See the photos here.
