Tangier Scout & Guide Centre is headquarters to Taunton District Scouts and Guides. It is housed in a large building on the banks of the river Tone in the centre of Taunton.

The Headquarters houses the District Scout Shop, the District Guide Shop and the County Scout offices.

The building also has a large hall and two smaller halls available for hire. The large hall is also the meeting place for Central Scout Group. The two smaller halls are often in use as meeting rooms for various District and County meetings and training days.

Being on the banks of the river the building also houses the District canoe store and Scouts and Guides can often be seen canoeing down the river that flows through the town centre.

The District Headquarters is a major asset that unfortunately not all Districts have.
